Licence and terms
Licence for members' materials
The Romanian translations, the audio and video recordings and the editing are protected works (Romanian Law no. 8/1996 on copyright and related rights). The authors' original texts are in the public domain; the translation, voice, editing and images are not. © 2026 Mihai Simion – the Romanian translations, recordings and editing. Original texts: public domain.
What you may do
- Strictly personal, non-commercial use: listen, watch and read on your own devices.
- Quote briefly, with attribution (tuesticauza.ro).
What is not allowed
- No redistribution: do not send, publish or re-upload the files (on social networks, YouTube, groups, websites, shared cloud, torrents, etc.).
- No selling, renting, public broadcasting or use in your own courses or products.
- No use of the materials to train artificial intelligence systems.
- The licence is personal and non-transferable: do not share your access with other people.
Personal watermark
Every Inner Circle download is individually marked for the member who downloads it (personal watermark: a visible and/or inaudible mark and metadata with the copyright notice and a member code). A redistributed file can therefore be traced back to the account it came from. We use the mark only to protect copyright; we keep only the link between the member code and the account (details in the Privacy policy).
Breach of the terms
If a marked file is found redistributed, access for that account may be suspended or closed, and the materials will be taken down from the platforms where they were re-uploaded. We reserve the rights provided by law.
Right of withdrawal (Romanian GEO no. 34/2014)
For digital content supplied immediately (streaming or download), the 14-day right of withdrawal is lost only if, before payment, you expressly agree to the immediate start of supply and acknowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal (GEO no. 34/2014, art. 16(m)). The payment platform must therefore show a separate tick box for this consent. If the platform we use does not offer one, we will not open downloads until an equivalent mechanism exists. The membership can be cancelled at any time for the following months.
Payment and your data
Payment, the member account, invoicing and VAT are handled by Patreon as an external service, under its own terms and privacy policies. You never enter payment details on tuesticauza.ro.
These terms are a working draft and will be reviewed before memberships open. The Romanian version prevails. Last updated: 20 October 2026.
Frequently asked questions
Do the texts stay free?
Yes. Everything we publish as text on the site stays free for everyone (the Reader tier). Members support the work of translating and recording.
How much does it cost?
Prices will be announced when memberships open. We ask for nothing until then.
Why a personal watermark?
Digital files are easy to copy. The personal mark discourages redistribution and helps us protect the work of translating and recording, without getting in the way of your listening.
Can I listen without downloading?
Yes – the Listener tier is streaming only. The Book of Meditations is free on YouTube anyway.
